Visiting External Affairs Secretary of India, Vikram Misri, has held a meeting with Foreign Affairs Minister Dr Arzu Rana Deuba.
During the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Singha Durbar, issues ranging from bilateral relations to mutual cooperation and connectivity to trade were discussed, the Foreign Ministry said.
"We discussed the full range of India-Nepal relations, with a focus on strengthening our connectivity, trade and development cooperation. Nepal appreciates India’s Neighborhood First Policy and looks forward to the continued growth of bilateral our ties," Rana mentioned on X following the meeting.

Earlier, Misri has held meetings with CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, President Ram Chandra Paudel and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
Misri is also scheduled to hold meeting with his Nepali counterpart Amrit Bahadur Rai. Two secretaries will hold discussions focusing on various aspects of Nepal-India partnership, including connectivity, development cooperation, and matters of mutual interest, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Misri, who arrived on a two-day official visit to Nepal today at the invitation of Foreign Secretary Rai, will return home on Monday.
