Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Ms. Vo Thi Anh Xuan, has arrived in Kathmandu today for a three-day official visit to Nepal. She is visiting Nepal at the friendly invitation of Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav.
Vice President Xuan was welcomed at the VVIP lounge of Tribhuvan International Airport by Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, and Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, Badri Prasad Pandey.
Present on the occasion were special category officials of the Government of Nepal, officials from security agencies, and other distinguished personalities. A Guard of Honor was presented by the Nepali Army in honor of Vice President Xuan.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that Foreign Minister Dr. Rana will hold a courtesy meeting with her today. She will be visiting Nepal until August 25.
