CPN (UML) Central Committee (CC) member Ain Mahar has been arrested.
Currently, his statement is being recorded at the Office of the Kathmandu District Attorney, informed SP Deepak Raj Awasthi of Cyber Bureau.
"Following an issuance of an arrest warrant, he had turned up at Cyber Bureau. Then we initiated a case," he told Nepalkhabar, "Now he is at the district attorney's office. We will take him to the court after this."
Mahar was arrested in response to a case lodged by a woman against him at the Cyber Bureau accusing the latter of assassinating her character.
