Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is on a five-day official visit to China, has held a meeting with his Vietnamese counterpart, Pham Minh Chinh in Tianjin.
During the meeting held on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit a while ago, the two leaders discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations, deepen economic cooperation, and explore new areas of partnership, particularly in trade, tourism and education.
They also exchanged views on regional development, multinational collaboration, expressing shared commitment to maintaining peace, stability, and mutual respect in Asia.
This meeting marked a of continuation of high-level engagements between Nepal and Vietnam, following the recent visit of Vietnamese Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan to Nepal.

Earlier, after observing the Rice planting area in, Prime Minister Oli also visited the Zhao Eenlai and Deng Yingchao Memorial Museum located in 9 Shuishang Park West Road Nankai District.
Similarly, Prime Minister Oli is also scheduled to hold talks with Mohamed Muizzu, the President of Maldives today itself.
Prime Minister Oli, First Lady Radhika Shakya and his delegation will participate in the dinner reception hosted by President Xi Jinpin at 7 pm today.
