In a message to employees, Chaudhary Group (CG) Chairman Nirvana Chaudhary condemned the recent violent attacks on the company’s properties, calling the events among the most painful in the corporation's history. He stated that what began as a movement with good intent was infiltrated by "hooligans and external forces," leading to widespread destruction.
The company reported attacks on its chairman’s family homes, factories, offices, and showrooms, which were looted and set ablaze. Chaudhary described it as an attack on "hope, trust, and on the very idea of building something meaningful for our nation."
Despite the devastation, the chairman’s message highlighted the "extraordinary" response of the CG team. He saluted leaders, managers, and employees who risked their safety to protect assets and maintain services. “You have shown the world what CG truly is: not just a company, but a family bound by resilience, loyalty, and courage,” Chaudhary said.
Asserting that the company is hurt but not broken, he vowed a full recovery. “We will rebuild. We will recover. And we will rise stronger than ever before,” he stated, promising that history would remember their resilience, not the destruction.
Emphasizing CG’s role as Nepal’s largest taxpayer and a key employer, Chaudhary reaffirmed the group’s commitment to nation-building, concluding with a message of strength and hope for the entire CG family.
