Hari Dhakal and Asim Shah have been elected as joint general secretaries of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP).
Dhakal and Shah were elected as joint general secretaries under the open category in the vote counting held on Friday. Dhakal is a member of the House of Representatives.
Similarly, Shah is a political advisor to Prime Minister Balendra Shah. He was previously a member of the House of Representatives through proportional representation electoral system.
