Four bodies of people were found at the burned down complex of Bhatbhateni Supermarket at Putali Line in Dharan Sub Metropolitan City-9.

According to a preliminary investigation of the District Police Office, Sunsari, the bodies appear to have been of those who entered the complex to pillage goods during the Gen Z uprising on September 9.

DPO Spokesperson Yograj Khatiwada said these youths were stuck inside the complex and couldn't come out when it was set on fire. Of the bodies, three bodies were found on the fourth floor while the other was fond on the second floor, he said.

"It is not possible to identify the bodies immediately. A DNA testing will be carried out for their identification," said Khatiwada, "The bodies have been sent to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan following a site report."

A group of protestors barged into the complex and set a fire to it by sprinkling petrol at around 7 pm on September 9 during the Gen Z protest. The fire was brought under control only today.
