Sudan Gurung, the president of an NGO called 'Hami Nepal', who has been calling himself the leader of the Gen Z groups, was assaulted at a press conference.

He was assaulted and manhandled after he reprimanded journalists at the Reporters Club.

Security personnel, who turned up immediately after the scuffle started, intervened in the skirmishes and some of his supporters surrounded him in a corner of the room where the press conference was held.

Tension flared up when a journalist asked him at the press conference how he changed the country's polity by replacing the 70-year-old 'man' with the 73-year-old 'woman', Sudan angrily replied to the journalists.

"Nepal has changed in 80 years, isn't this a change? What did you say?' Gurung threw a tantrum. Then the journalists surrounded him, saying, "Are you intimidating us?"
