The newly appointed ministers, Om Prakash Aryal, Rameshwar Khanal and Kulman Ghising, have been sworn in amidst a program organized at Sheetal Niwas.
President Ramchandrea Paudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly appointed three ministers a while ago.
Former Finance Secretary Rameshwar Khanal took the oath of office and secrecy as the Minister for Finance, former Managing Director of Nepal Electricity Authority Kulman Ghising as the Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Construction, Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, and Urban Development and advocate and human rights activist Om Prakash Aryal as the Minister for Home Affairs as well as the Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.

Besides the President, Prime Minister Sushila Karki, Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav, Chairman of the National Assembly, Narayan Dahal, among others, were present during the oath-taking ceremony.
Prime Minister Sushila Karki decided to induct these three individuals in her cabinet recommended their names to President Ram Chandra Paudel on Sunday night.
Former Chief Justice Karki became the head of the interim government after the government led by UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli collapsed due to the Gen Z movement.
President Paudel appointed former Chief Justice Karki as the Prime Minister of the interim government with the mandate to hold the general elections. The general elections have been scheduled for March 5, 2026.
