PM Karki to hold talks with her Indian counterpart Modi on Thursday

Indian Ambassador to Nepal, Naveen Srivastava, is paying a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sushila Karki at Singha Durbar on behalf of Modi today.

The meeting has been scheduled for 4 pm at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers. During the meeting, the Indian Ambassador will congratulate the newly appointed Prime Minister Karki.

According to a source at the Prime Minister's Office, telephone talks with Modi are scheduled for Thursday.

Earlier, the Ministry of External Affairs of India has congratulated Karki on being appointed the Prime Minister of Nepal.

Earlier, Modi had welcomed the formation of a civilian government in Nepal while he was addressing a mass meeting in the Indian Stat of Manipur.
