The first session of the second term of the Karnali Provincial Assembly has been summoned.
Chief of Karnali Province Tilak Pariyar has summoned the first session of the Karnali PA, for January 2, on the recommendation of the Karnali Province Government.
Earlier, the cabinet meeting held on Wednesday under the chair of Chief Minister Jeevan Bahadur Shahi has decided to make the recommendation.
Issuing a press release, Province Chief Pariyar has summoned the session for coming Monday at 1:00 pm in accordance with Article 183 of the Constitution.
Binod Kumar Shah, the eldest member of the Karnali Provincial Assembly, will assume the role of Acting Speaker in the first session of the second term of the Provincial Assembly.
