High Court, Patan is hearing an appeal filed by rape-accused cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane today.
Judges Subhash Paudel and Kiran Kumar Pokharel are scheduled to hear the case. Lamichhane had filed an appeal at the High Court against the District Court’s decision to put him in the prison for investigation.
The hearing, which was originally scheduled for December 22, had been postponed for today due to busy schedule of senior advocates.
Lamichhane’s lawyer had filed an appeal against the District Court’s decision to incarcerate rape-accused former Nepali Cricket Team captain on December 15.
