Nepal has set a 149-run target for West Indies in a T20I cricket tournament underway at Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates on Saturday.
Invited to bat first after losing the toss at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Nepal notched up 148 runs, losing 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Captain Rohit Paudel topped the score with 38 runs followed by Kushal Malla with 30 runs, while Gulsan Jha scored 22 runs. Similarly, Dipendra Singh Airee contributed 17 runs. The other batsmen could not achieve significant runs.
In reply, Jason Holder took the highest 4 wickets followed by Navin Bidaisee with 3 wickets. Akeal Hosein grabbed 1 wicket for West Indies.
