Forensic report verifies Bipin's body; process for repatriation begins

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that the body of Bipin Joshi, which was handed over by Hamas on Monday, has been identified and that the process of repatriating it to Nepal has been initiated.

Issuing a statement on Tuesday, the Ministry informed that a representative from the Nepali Embassy in Israel visited the National Center of Forensic Medicine in Tel Aviv today and confirmed the body belonged to Bipin. The embassy has also started the process of repatriating the body back to Nepal in coordination with the relevant local authorities, according to the Ministry.

The Ministry also stated that even after the body is brought back to Nepal, proper initiatives will continue in coordination with the concerned government and stakeholders to ascertain the true cause and circumstances of his death, ensure justice, and facilitate the social security, compensation, and other facilities for the victim's family.
