PM Karki invites seven political parties to discuss upcoming election

Prime Minister Sushila Karki has invited seven political parties represented in the dissolved House of Representatives for holding a discussion on upcoming elections.

The interim government, led by PM Karki, has been mandated to hold election on March 5, next year.

The seven political parties have been sent letters officially for a meeting at PM's official residence, Baluwatar at 4:00pm on October 21, said Ram Rawal, Press Coordinator to PM Karki. Two high-level representatives from each of the seven political parties have been summoned in the discussion, Rawal added.

The political parties that are invited for the meeting are-  Nepali Congress, CPN (UML), CPN (Maoist Center), Rastriya Swatantra Party, Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Janamat Party and Nagarik Unmukti Party.
