Two ministers have taken the oath of office and secrecy amidst a program held at Sheetal Niwas on Sunday.
Dr. Sudha Sharma Gautam took the oath of office and secrecy as the Minister for Health and Population, and Bablu Gupta was sworn in as the Minister for Youth and Sports. President Ramchandra Paudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to Gautam and Gupta a while ago.
The government led by Prime Minister Sushila Karki could not take a full shape today either. Although it was previously announced that four ministers would be sworn in today, the President's Office at the last minute informed that only two ministers would take the oath.

The other two individuals, who were rumored to be taking oath as ministers, were Khagendra Sunar and Ganapatilal Shrestha.
According a sources at Baluwatar, the Prime Minister withdrew Sunar's name on the ground of finding various allegations leveled against him. Earlier, Prime Minister Karki had consulted other ministers on this issue.
However, Baluwatar has not divulged a reason for canceling Shrestha's oath. With the addition of two more ministers, the Council of Ministers led by Karki has now reached 10.
