An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale occurred this morning with its epicenter at Kimathanka in the district of Sankhuwasabha.
According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center, the tremor was recorded at 7:32 am today.
The District Administration Office, Sankhuwasabha, said that there are currently no reports of casualties or damage resulting from the earthquake.
