A tripartite meeting coordinated by Prime Minister Sushila Karki is taking place today at Baluwatar, to create an environment conducive for elections.
This is going to be the first direct dialogue between the government, political parties, and representatives of Gen Z. The dialogue is scheduled for 4 pm on Wednesday, according to Ram Rawal, Press Coordinator for Prime Minister Sushila Karki.
"There was no direct dialogue between the protesting groups and the parties displaced from power," Rawal said. "The Prime Minister is facilitating this discussion by bringing the two powers together with the aim of urging them to participate in the scheduled election."
Prior to this, the government and political parties discussed the topic of elections on October 21. In the all-party meeting called by Prime Minister Sushila Karki, all sides appeared positive about creating a favorable environment and completing the elections within the stipulated time.
