Women's Football: Nepal thrashes India in tie-breaker

 Nepal has beaten India in friendly women's football match in a tie-breaker.

In the match held today at the Palzor Stadium in Sikkim, India, Nepal defeated the host team 3-0 in a tie-breaker.

Nepal won the match when Sabita Ranamagar, Rashmi Kumari Ghising and Nisha Thokar stroke goals in penalty shootout.

Nepal's goal keeper Anjana Ranamagar had saved the first and third penalty of Indian players. India's second penalty went out.

Earlier, both the teams had played draw with 1-1 in the 90-minute stipulated match.

The match entered into tie-breaker after it went draw in the designated time. Both the teams had made the goals in the first half of the match.

Nepal's Anita Basnet had scored a goal in the extra time while Indian striker Soumya Guguloth netted the goal in the 30th minute of the match.
