Gold price up by Rs 2,700 per tola

The price of gold has increased by Rs 2,700 per tola (11.66 grams) in the domestic market on Friday, the last trading day of the week.

The yellow metal, which was traded at Rs 236,300 per tola on Thursday, has risen to Rs 239,000 per tola today, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association.

Similarly, the price of silver has increased by Rs 80 per tola to reach at Rs 3,060.

Gold is being traded at 3,995 US dollars per ounce in the international market today.
