Vehicles are still not running on the BP Highway today. According to the police, the BP Highway remains completely obstructed today as the accumulation of mud and the continuous falling of stones/rocks have not stopped.

According to information provided by DSP Rabin Bista of the District Police Office, Kavre, the debris and landslide materials from the road have not yet been cleared in areas including Chaukidanda, Narke, Charasyabenesi, and Dalabensi.

The BP Highway has been obstructed in both directions since Thursday night after continuous rainfall caused landslides and mud to accumulate on the road.

"The road remains fully blocked in several places, including Chaukidanda in Namobuddha Municipality-6 of Kavre, Charsayabensi in Roshi Rural Municipality-7, Dalabensi in Roshi-11, Biruwadanda in Roshi-9, Koksikuna, and Narke," DSP Bishta told Nepalkhabar. "The process of clearing the debris and the continuous falling of landslides has been ongoing in these areas since yesterday."

The police have stated that it will take time to repair the road as it is blocked in many places. Passengers traveling to and from Eastern Nepal who use the BP Highway have been affected due to the obstruction.
