The Department of Roads (DoR) on Sunday issued an international competitive tender to select a service provider for the operation and maintenance of the Nagdhunga-Sisnekhola Tunnel Road.
The tender has a provision that requires international bidders to partner with a Nepali company while participating in it. The selected service provider will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the tunnel road for five years.
Interested companies can participate in the tender by December 17, 2025.
The tunnel road must be operated in a systematic and safe manner. Hence, the DoR has initiated the process of selecting the company through a competitive bidding process.
