NC establishment proposes to hold Gen Convention on May 10-13

The establishment of Nepali Congress has floated a proposal to hold the party's 15th General Convention from May 10 to May 13.

Joint General Secretary Mahendra Yadav submitted the proposal at the ongoing Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting on behalf of the establishment.

Prior to this, General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa had submitted a proposal to hold the general convention from December 31 to January 3.

The two factions in Nepali Congress are divided over whether to hold the upcoming General Convention before or after the elections scheduled for March 5, next year.
