Nepali Communist Party and Rawal-led Abhiyan sign deal for unification (photos)

Nepali Communist Party has signed an agreement with Bhim Rawal-led Matribhumi Jagaran Abhiyan, Nepal, with the latter integrating into the party.

The coordinator of Nepali Communist Party, Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda',  joint coordinator Madhav Nepal and Rawal signed a seven-point agreement at a program organize at Paris Danda on Wednesday.

According to the agreement, the newly formed party will hold National General Convention in the next six months, adop collective leadership system and finalize the position and responsibilities of Rawal in the newly formed party at the earliest.

A formal program is being organized to formally announce unification between Nepali Communist Party and Rawal-led Abhiyan today itself, sources have said.
