The secretariat member of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Santosh Pariyar, has left the party.

Pariyar, who was the chief whip from RSP and MP under the proportional representation in the dissolved House of Representatives, left the party.

Pariyar resigned from the party today, stating he was disappointed after the organization failed to reflect the unique structure and character of Nepali society.

In his resignation letter, he said, "I have taken it as my own weakness to be unable to establish ideas while constantly debating them in the party." I am also saddened by the failure to develop the party's ideology in accordance with the unique structure and character of Nepali society."
