Netra Bikram Chand 'Biplav' registered a political party called CPN (Maoist) in the Office of the Election Commission on Tuesday.
Biplav has also obtained a certificate for the registration of his party, which bears this name.
Earlier, he had registered Communist Party of Nepal in the EC on October 28. Eventually, he tweaked the party's name as CPN (Maoist), the one which existed in 2052 BS prior to waging a decade-long Maoist insurgency.
A rose is the election symbol of the party. Biplav is making preparations to take part in the elections scheduled for March 5.
