Sudupaschim Royals has posted a 45-run win against Karnali Yaks in the 10th match of the Nepal Premier League (NPL), a franchise-based T20 cricket tournament, held in Kirtipur.
This is Sudurpashchim's third consecutive win. Earlier, Sudurpashchim had defeated Pokhara Avengers and Kathmandu Gorkhas. With this victory, Sudurpashchim now has 6 points.
To restrict the opponent from reaching the target, Dipendra Singh Airee took the highest 4 wickets for 23 runs while Harmeet Singh, and Abinash Bohara grabbed 2 wickets each. Similarly, Scott Kuggeleijn and Hemant Dhami took 1 wicket each for Sudurpaschim.
Sudurpaschim bowled Karnali out for 94 runs in 19.2 overs while the latter was chasing the 140-run target. Pawan Sarraf's 27-run score was the highest for Karnali.

Mark Watt notched up 17 runs followed by Captain Sompal Kami with 14 runs. Similarly, Gulsan Jha and Arjun Gharti contribued 13 runs each for Karnali.
Earlier, invited to bat first after losing the toss at the TU International Cricket Ground, Sudurpaschim notched up 139 runs losing 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Captain Dipendra Singh Airee scored the highest 39 runs including 1 four and 2 sixes off 28 deliveries. Similarly, Aarif Sheikh notched up 27 runs while Harmeet Singh and Chris Lynn contributed 19 and 18 runs, respectively. Likewise, Binod Bhandari and Scott Kuggeleijn made 11 and 10 runs, respectively.

In reply, Sompal Kami took the highest 3 wickets followed by Nandan Yadav with 2 wickets while Mark Watt, Bipin Sharma and Yuvraj Khatri claimed 1 wicket each for Karnali Yaks.
Kathmandu Gorkhas and Lumbini Lions are scheduled to lock their horns on Tuesday. The match will begin at the TU International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur at 4 pm.
