Cold grips Valley as mercury dips to 7 degrees

The minimum temperature of the Kathmandu Valley has gone down to 7 degrees Celsius on Tuesday.

The temperature which was recorded at 7:4 degrees Celsius at 5:45 am plummeted further to 7 degrees Celsius at 8:45 am.

This is the official minimum temperature for today.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology records temperature twice in the morning,  at 5:45 am and 8:45 am.

The lowest temperature of the country is recorded in Jumla. According to the Department, the temperature of Jumla recorded at minus 5.5 degrees Celsius this morning.
