CPN (UML) has filed its registration with the Election Commission for the general elections scheduled for March 5.
UML Election Department Chief Niraj Acharya and Office Secretary Dr Bhisma Adhikari reached the Office of the Commission and filed the party's registration.
Earlier, UML had registered its party for the elections of the National Assembly on Monday.
The UML has filed a writ petition demanding the reinstatement of the House of Representatives while also registering the party for the general elections.
According to Acharya, the party registration number is 66. “For the National Assembly election, we have received registration number 939. For the House of Representatives election, we are registered under number 971. Our overall party registration number is 66,” Acharya said.
