Ujyaalo Nepal Party has officially expanded its structure with the formation of its first province committee.
The political party formed under the leadership of Kulman Ghising, began expanding its organization with the formation of province committee in Bagmati Province.
After receiving a party registration certificate on November 21, Ghising is focused on expanding its party organization as part of preparations for March 5.
A meeting convened at Indreni Banquet in Kathmandu on Monday formed a 75-member province convention organizing committee under the coordination of Prabin Tamang, informed party leader Jitram Waiba.
"The expansion of the party organization has started from Bagmati Province," Waiba said, "We will soon launch organizational campaign in other provinces, too."
Ghising, who is also the Minister for Energy, Physical Infrastructure and Urban Development, also took part and addressed the gathering of cadres.
It is learnt that Ghising will resign from the ministerial post just before the filing of his nomination and assume the leadership of the party.
Among the parties registered following the Gen Z movement of September 8-9, Ujyaalo Nepal has become the first to expand its organization to the province level.
Ujyaalo Nepal Party is making preparations to formally announce its establishment at Nepal Academy in Kamaladi on December 2.
