CPN (UML) has decided to hold the opening ceremony of its 11th General Convention at Sallaghari in Bhaktapur. The convention will take place on December 13 and hold its closed session at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu, the UML sources have said.
According to UML leader Dr. Bhishma Adhikari, a meeting of the General Convention Preparation Secretariat held this morning at the party’s central office in Chyasal took a decision to this effect.
UML has decided to use the slogan from its Statute General Convention held last September as the main slogan of the General Convention. Adhikari said the main slogan has been set as: “Commitment to Building a Decisive National Force: Our Destination—Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali.”
In the meeting, 12 committees formed for the preparation of the General Convention briefed on the work they have completed within their respective jurisdictions and the tasks that remain to be done.
