A young man died when a truck and a motorcycle collided at Chapagaun in Lalitpur on Wednesday morning.
According to the police, a truck, Na 3 Kha 4745, collided head-on with a motorcycle, Ba Pra 02-019 Pa 6687, on the road at Chapagaun in Lalitpur Metropolitan City-15 thsi morning.
The motorcycle driver, 22-year-old Sushant Basnet, a resident of Bhatke Pati, Kirtipur Municipality-5, Kathmandu, died in the accident, Lalitpur Police said.
Basnet, who sustained critical injuries in the accident, breathed his last in the course of treatment at the Patan Institute of Health Sciences.
The police said they are investigating the case after taking the truck driver into custody.
