Nepali Congress (NC) has decided to hold its 15th General Convention from January 10 to 12.
A Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting of NC convened at the central party office in Sanepa unanimously endorsed the schedule for the party's regular general convention.
Similarly, the CWC meeting also extended its tenure till February 12.
The CWC meeting, which had been postponed time and again, is taking place at the central party office in Sanepa. The meeting couldn't be held over the dispute whether to go for special or general convention.
Acting President Purna Bahadur Khadka in the meeting floated the proposal to hold the 15th general convention in the second week of January.
