NPL Qualifier 1: Sudurpaschim and Biratnagar locking their horns at 4 pm today

The Qualifier 1 match of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2nd Season, which is currently underway in Kathmandu, is being held today.

Sudurpaschim Royals and Biratnagar Kings will lock their horns at 4 pm on Tuesday at the TU International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

Sudurpaschim secured the top position on the points table, while Biratnagar finished second, confirming their spots in Qualifier 1.

Sudurpaschim won six of their seven league-stage matches, whereas Biratnagar won five out of seven. Sudurpaschim only lost to Biratnagar in the league stage. Biratnagar, on the other hand, lost to Chitwan and Lumbini.

The winner of today’s match will directly advance to the final, while the loser will face the winner of the eliminator in Qualifier 2 on Thursday.

Similarly, Kathmandu Gorkhas will take on Lumbini Lions in the eliminator on Wednesday.
