Recently reinstated Managing Director (MD) of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), Hitendra Dev Shakya, said he has got justice from the court after two and a half months of bad experience.
The Supreme Court of Nepal reinstated Shakya to the post of Managing Director on Monday. He had been transferred to the Water and Energy Commission on September 21 after Kulman Ghisig took charge as the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation.
Expressing happiness on Wednesday upon his reinstatement as the Managing Director of Nepal Electricity Authority, Shakya said, "I had been removed as the Managing Director of the Nepal Electricity Authority for no other obvious reasons. I got justice from the court after two and a half months of bad experience.
"I will now work for the interest and further growth of the NEA as per the policies and directives of the government," said Shakya, "I will set a certain goal and leave no stone unturned to achieve it in my remaining three and a half years."
