The Qualifier 2 match of the Nepal Premier League (NPL), a franchise-based T20 cricket tournament, is taking place at the Tribhuvan International Cricket Stadium in Kirtipur today.
According to the schedule, Lumbini Lions and Biratnagar Kings will face each other at 4:00 pm.
Biratnagar earned a chance to play the Qualifier 2 after losing to Sudurpaschim Royals by 77 runs in the Qualifier 1.
Lumbini reached the Qualifier 2 by defeating Kathmandu Gorkhas by 4 wickets in the Eliminator held on Wednesday. In the league stage, Lumbini had defeated Biratnagar by 5 wickets.
Since the winner of today’s match will reach the final, the game is crucial for both teams.
The winner will face Sudurpaschim for the title. The final match is scheduled for Saturday 3:30 pm.
