Four newly appointed ministers have taken the oath of office and secrecy amidst a special ceremony held at the Office of the President on Friday.
President Ramchandra Paudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly appointed ministers a while ago.
Earlier, President Paudel had appointed Shraddha Shrestha, Madhav Chaulagain, Rajendra Singh Bhandari, and Kumar Ingnam as ministers on the recommendation of Prime Minister Sushila Karki.
Shrestha has been assigned the Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens; Chaulagain, the Ministry of Forests and Environment; Bhandari, the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security; and Ingnam has been appointed as the Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation.
Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Sushila Karki, Chief Justice Prakash Man Singh Raut, Speaker Devraj Ghimire, National Assembly Chairperson Narayan Prasad Dahal, among other distinguished personalities were present during the fuction at Sheetal Niwas.
