The KP Sharma Oli camp of CPN (UML) has finalized the candidates for the posts of office-bearers as part of the elections of the 11th General Convention.
According to sources, Ram Bahadur Thapa, Bishnu Paudel, Guru Baral and Prithvi Subba Gurung have been nominated as vice chairpersons. Pradeep Gyawali is eying the post of General Secretary.
While Shankar Pokharel will repeat as the General Secretary for one more term, Bishnu Rimal, Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal and Raghubir Mahaseth will contest the elections for the posts of deputy general secretaries.
Similarly, Lekh Raj Bhatta, Padma Aryal and Chhabilal Bishwa Karma will repeat as secretaries.
Likewise, Yamlal Kandel, Sherdhan Rai, Khagraj Adhikari, Hikmat Karki, Rajan Bhattarai and Mahesh Basnet will vie for the posts of secretaries from the Oli camp in the ongoing 11th Gen Convention.
