The government has formed a high-level political dialogue committee to engage in discussions with various political parties and stakeholders.
According to Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel, the cabinet meeting held today formed the committee under the leadership of Minister for Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Anil Sinha.
The committee comprises Minister Kharel and Prime Minister’s Chief Political Advisor Ajay Bhadra Khanal as members.
Dr Shrestha appointed NPC Vice-Chair
The government has appointed Dr Prakash Kumar Shrestha as the Vice-Chair of the National Planning Commission and Prof Dr Suniti Shrestha Hada as member.
The decision was taken by the meeting of the Council of Ministers today, according to Government spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel.
He also mentioned that the cabinet resolved to eliminate the practice of using postal stamps as revenue stamps on documents for authenticity in service delivery, except in cases where it is mandated by existing law.
