NICCI bids farewell to Vice President Rayavaram

The Nepal-India Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NICCI) recently organized a program to bid farewell to outgoing Surya Nepal Managing Director, Ravi Kumar Rayavaram, and welcome the newly appointed MD, Gaurav Tayal.

"During the farewell program organized at the Secretariat, executive committee members of NICCI wished him success in his new role. In his farewell speech, Rayavaram said, "I felt as if I was staying in my own home here."

Presenting a token of love and a letter of appreciation on the occasion, NICCI President Sunil KC presented said, "Rayavaram's contribution to NICCI and the Nepali economy—as a leader of Surya Nepal, one of the major Indian joint venture companies—was remarkable." "We will always remember him," he said."

Similarly, NICCI Executive Member Shashikant Agrawal congratulated Rayavaram on his new role and expressed hope for his return to Nepal in an even "bigger capacity" in the future.

Acknowledging his of contributions, Saibal Ghosh, co-chairman of the India Business Forum (IBF), thanked Rayavaram for his active leadership and significant contributions to strengthening bilateral trade and the economy during his tenure as the vice president of the chamber.

Other prominent members, including NICCI Vice President Kunal Kayal, National Insurance CEO Navneet Gupta, and hydropower entrepreneur Uttam Lama, lauded Rayavaram’s relentless dedication to the chamber.

Surya Nepal’s newly appointed Managing Director, Gaurav Tayal, also spoke on the occasion, expressing his gratitude to Rayavaram and Nikki for the support they provided.
