KP Sharma Oli has been elected as the chairman of CPN (UML) for a third term. He secured 1,663 votes, while his rival, Ishwar Pokharel, managed to receive only 564 votes.
The UML's Election Commission is yet to make the formal official announcement of the results.

The final results for the five vice-chairman positions of CPN (UML) have been declared.
According to the final vote count, Prithvi Subba Gurung, Bishnu Prasad Paudel, Ram Bahadur Thapa 'Badal', Gokarna Raj Bista, and Guru Prasad Baral have been elected as Vice-Chairmen.

Shankar Pokharel reelected as UML General Secretary
Shankar Pokharel has been reelected as the General Secretary of CPN-UML, securing 1,228 votes.
Pokharel has been elected for second term as the party's General Secretary, defeating his rival, Surendra Pandey. Pandey received 999 votes.
While Pokharel, who first became General Secretary through the 10th General Convention, reelected for a second term, this marks the second defeat for Pandey for this specific position. Previously, during the UML's 9th General Convention, Pandey was defeated for the post of General Secretary by Ishwar Pokharel.

Historical Background: This is a back-to-back victory for Pokhrel, whereas Pandey has now faced two defeats in his bid for the post of General Secretary (first against Ishwar Pokharel and now against Shankar Pokharel).
Lekhraj, Raghubir, and Yogesh elected as UML Deputy General Secretaries
Lekhraj Bhatta, Raghubir Mahaseth, and Yogesh Bhattarai have been elected as the Deputy General Secretaries of the CPN (UML).
According to the UML Central Election Commission, Lekhraj secured 1,452 votes, Raghubir received 1,368 votes, and Yogesh obtained 1,348 votes.
As per the party statute, there are provisions for three Deputy General Secretaries.
A total of seven candidates had contested for these positions. Bishnu Rimal, a leader close to KP Sharma Oli, finished in fourth place with 1,091 votes.
Meanwhile, Ananda Prasad Pokhrel finished fifth with 635 votes, Baijanath Chaudhary sixth with 517 votes, and Rajendra Prasad Gautam came in last with 270 votes.

In the election for the CPN (UML) Secretary positions, all candidates from the KP Sharma Oli panel have emerged victorious.
Mahesh Basnet, representing the Oli camp, clinched the secretary post with 1,544 votes. Joining him as winners are Sherdhan Rai, Padma Aryal, Chhabilal Bishwakarma, Hikmat Kumar Karki, Khagaraj Adhikari, Yamlal Kandel, Rajan Bhattarai, and Bhanubhakta Dhakal.
