Lekhraj, Raghubir, and Yogesh elected as UML Deputy General Secretaries

Lekhraj Bhatta, Raghubir Mahaseth, and Yogesh Bhattarai have been elected as the Deputy General Secretaries of the CPN (UML).

According to the UML Central Election Commission, Lekhraj secured 1,452 votes, Raghubir received 1,368 votes, and Yogesh obtained 1,348 votes.

As per the party statute, there are provisions for three Deputy General Secretaries.

A total of seven candidates had contested for these positions. Bishnu Rimal, a leader close to KP Sharma Oli, finished in fourth place with 1,091 votes.

Meanwhile, Ananda Prasad Pokhrel finished fifth with 635 votes, Baijanath Chaudhary sixth with 517 votes, and Rajendra Prasad Gautam came in last with 270 votes.
