A group led by Gen Z representative Miraj Dhungana has announced a street protest, alleging that the current government has betrayed the spirit of the youth uprising.
During a press conference held in Kathmandu on Sunday, the Dhungana-led group announced the agitation while putting forward a 10-point list of demands. The group stated that the protests, scheduled to begin tomorrow, will remain peaceful.
Dhungana stressed the need for the formation of an all-party government, accusing the current administration—led by Sushila Karki—of failing to operate in accordance with the values of Gen Z.
"Today’s need is for a political leadership that can take all parties into confidence and engage in dialogue," Dhungana stated. "It must be able to deliver justice and provide the country with peace and stability. This is the essence of our protest. An all-party government is the need of the hour. We have observed the government for 100 days. It does not carry the spirit of our movement."

Key demands
Constitutional reform and rewriting
The Constitution needs to be amended through the formation of an all-party roundtable conference to ensure state restructuring and political stability.
Judicial reform
To control corruption, a powerful "Corruption Eradication Commission" must be formed. Additionally, provisions should be made for the live broadcasting of court proceedings and verdicts.
Justice and release of protesters
The immediate release of innocent youth detained during previous movements must be ensured. The government must also guarantee medical treatment for the injured and provide education, healthcare, and employment for the families of martyrs.
Voting rights and NRN policy
Voting rights must be guaranteed for Nepalis living abroad. Furthermore, the "Once a Nepali, Always a Nepali" policy regarding Non-Resident Nepalis (NRNs) must be effectively implemented in practice.
Justice for victims
The government must resolve the long-standing issues of usury victims, cooperative and microfinance sufferers, and sugarcane farmers. Legal action must be taken against the perpetrators, and compensation must be provided to the victims.
