President of Nepali Congress, Sher Bahadur Deuba, and Chairman of CPN (UML), KP Sharma Oli, have held a meeting today.
During the meeting held at leader Deuba's residence in Maharajgunj, the two leaders discussed the contemporary political issues, according to the Deuba's secretariat.
Unlike the previous meeting where he was accompanied by his wife Radhika Shakya, Oli was accompanied by General Secretary Shankar Pokhare.
Oli was reelected as the chairman and Pokharel as the General Secretary through the 11th General Election held in Kathmandu on December 13-17.
This is the first meeting between Oli and Deuba following the General Convention.
UML and Nepali Congress have been making efforts for the reinstatement of the House of Representatives (HoR). It has recently moved the Supreme Court and both the parties have collected signatures of the members of their parliament (MPs).
Former Prime Minister Oli is adamant about not giving statement to the High Level Inquiry Commission formed to investigate the September 8-9 Gen Z movement.
