Nepali Congress (NC) has extended the deadline for the renewal of active memberships until December 24 noon.
The decision to extend the timeframe was made during a meeting of the party's Active Membership Management Committee.
Committee member Prakash Rasaili "Snehi" informed that the extension was granted because the work could not be completed within the previously stipulated time.
According to Rasaili, forms submitted by 12:00 pm on December 24 will be accepted, after which the membership distribution system will be locked.
NC had set the mid-December deadline of for renewal of active membership for the 15th General Convention. After the work was not completed within the stipulated time, it was extended to till December 24.
The Central Working Committee had decided to hold the 15th General Convention of the party from January 10 to 12.
