Nepali Congress (NC) is giving the final touch to the list of proportional representation (PR) candidates as the submission deadline is ending today.
The list of PR candidates from all seven provinces have been submitted to President Sher Bahadur Deuba.
Against this background, a leader informed that NC has included the name of leader Arjun Narasingh KC in the number one list.
"His name has been included in the list based on the information we have received so far," he said, "The final list will not be released until the Central Working Committee finalizes it."
According to the leader, a meeting of the CWC is being held to finalize the PR list.
In the previous election, leader KC was directly elected from Nuwakot Constituency-2. After the
Gen Z movement, he had announced that he would not contest the election.
