Nepse down 10.53 points

Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) has witnessed a correction of 10.53 points on Monday, the second trading day of the week.

With the correction, the bench mark index, which went up by 47 points on Sunday, decreased by 10.53 points to settle at 2622.88 points.

The sale of 10 million shares today generated a total turnover of Rs 4.77 billion.

While the share prices of 85 companies went up that of 165 companies decreased. The price of remaining nine companies remained unchanged.

SY topped the profit making companies with Rs 80 per share making the highest transaction of Rs 230 million followed by Green Development Bank with Rs 65 per share today.

Similarly, Wean Nepal Laghubitta lost share prices by 10 percent with shareholders losing Rs 166.20 per share today
