The results of the preliminary elections of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) have been made public.
Under the six clusters of proportional representation (PR), Ramesh Prasai has topped the list with the highest number of votes from the Khas Arya cluster, followed by Uttam Bahadur Gurung from the Adivasi Janajati, Poonam Kumari Agrawal from the Madhesi category, Bijaya Jairu from the Dalit, Samina Miya from the Muslim cluster, and Prem Lal Chaudhary from the Tharu category.
In the preliminary election results of RSP, Ramesh Prasai has received the highest number of votes under PR with 18,223. Prasai had filed his candidacy in the PR from the Khas Arya category.
In the PR from the Adivasi Janajati category, Uttam Bahadur Gurung has topped the list with 16,121 votes while Poonam Kumari Agrawal received 15,745 votes from the Madhesi cluster.
Similarly, Bijay Jairu has received 13,143 votes from the Dalit category. Samina Miya received 15,967 votes from the Muslim cluster in the primary election of RSP. Likewise, Prem Lal Chaudhary is in first place from the Tharu cluster with 17,425 votes.
