Two workers of Super Trishuli hydro go missing in Trishuli; search continues

Two workers working at the hydropower plant have gone missing while bathing in the Trishuli River.

Police in Chitwan have said that they have been searching for them since Saturday afternoon.

They went missing while bathing in the Trishuli River near the suspension bridge at Kuringhat in Ichchakamana-4, Chitwan on Saturday afternoon.

Police have identified the missing as Shankar Chaudhary, 21, of Bansara, Geruwa Rural Municipality-2, Bardiya, and Saurabh Tharu, 22, of Rajapur Municipality.

Police in Chitwan have said that the search for the missing youth has been ongoing since this morning. Police have launched the search after clothes, mobile phones, slippers and a lighter were found on the banks of the Trishuli River.

Police have said that they are workers working at the Super Trishuli Hydropower plant.

A team including divers from the Armed Police Force Disaster Management Training School, Kuringhat, has been mobilized to search for them.

Police in Chitwan have said that the search has been going on since this morning as they were not found till yesterday evening. A team including divers from the Armed Police Force Disaster Management Training School, Kuringhat, is currently searching for the missing.
