The election to elect the new leadership under the Special General Convention is scheduled for Wednesday.
The closed session of the Special General Convention, which kicked off on Sunday, is underway at Bhrikuti Mandap in Kathmandu.
The coordinator of the election committee formed by the Special General Convention, Sitaram KC, said the voting will not be held today. According to an election program unveiled earlier, the voting was supposed to begin at 9 pm today.
Currently, the candidates are filing nominations. The deadline for filing nominations was set until 7:30 pm.
